Regional IT Corporation doubles sales volume and triples reseller base
Regional IT Company based in Griffith NSW, Veritech Corporation, has been the sole distributor of Endian
in Australasia and the Pacific for one year and already they have tripled the reseller base, doubled the sales
volume and implemented many business successes throughout the year.
Veritech Corporation Pty Ltd is a well established Network and Computer Consulting Firm based in
Griffith NSW. Veritech handles IT support and system design for many of the larger firms in the region.
Headed by Livio Mazzon since its commencement in 1994, the business has developed significantly and
continues to grow from strength to strength.
Endian was founded in 2003 by a team of experienced network specialists and Linux enthusiasts with the
objective of providing sophisticated open source based solutions. In 2004, they started the development of
Endian Firewall UTM, in an attempt to implement a system that fulfils the requirements of modern network
security solutions. Since the first release in 2005 more than 1000 customers in 30 countries have decided in
favour of Endian Firewall, with over 2500 appliances sold and the free Endian Firewall Community Edition
has been downloaded more than 500,000 times by a growing community. In 2009 alone, Endian released
version 2.3 of the system, released the Macro R1 and Macro R2 units for larger organisations, and began
offering plugins for Sophos and Commtouch modules for anti-spam and antivirus.
Veritech are the first official Endian distributors for the Australasia and Pacific regions and since the
collaboration in January 2009 Veritech has achieved impressive progress, not only in sales and reseller base
but through many other business fundamentals.
Veritech now provide increased support and after sales service to local users with the stocking of a full
Endian range for warranty repairs and immediate shipment. Veritech launched the highly successful
securitywithpassion.com.au website. The website was intended as a hub for announcements, discussions,
support and case studies for the Australia and South Pacific region. However, gauging by its growing
membership has attracted interest from Endian users and Internet security enthusiasts across the world.
Veritech are becoming increasingly active in the Endian marketplace with regular visits to Resellers, the
attendance at the 2009 computer trouble-shooters conference, and a number of sales promotions and reseller
competitions. And, ultimately Veritech is boosting their regional economy through the expansion and
development of the business; they now build and test all units’ right here in regional Australia, and they are
currently looking to employ additional staff to help with the growth of the business.
Chief Operating Officer at Endian Italy, Diego Gagliardo is overwhelmed with this success and is excited
about what Veritech will achieve in 2010 and beyond.

many facets which we can market. It’s not like selling a standard firewall. Customers are usually well
versed in their requirements, which vary with each sale. Sometimes its content filtering, sometimes VPN,
sometimes Active Directory integration; whatever the need, its always a pleasure to help a customer integrate
our product into their existing network.”
